Ithaca College Hillel is excited to announce and warmly welcome Julie Boden Adams as our next Executive Director, starting on July 8.
Julie brings extensive expertise as a higher education administrator, both serving as an attorney by trade and consulting with clients such as NYU and Long Island University. Most recently she operated her own boutique law firm. She has also served in a volunteer capacity in the Jewish community and has several years of fundraising and nonprofit experience through leadership roles in Cornell Law School Dean’s Special Leadership Committee and as Chair of the Board Advancement Committee of Speyer Legacy School.
We want to share these comments from Julie with you: “Joining Hillel at Ithaca College as the next executive director is a dream come true. Lauren Goldberg's remarkable achievements during her tenure inspire me, and I am humbled and grateful to build on her successes. Hillel profoundly impacted my Jewish journey as a college student, and I am excited to help provide a safe and joyful place for the next generation. I look forward to using my skills to further my passion for Jewish education and community-building in this very special place that values diversity and inclusivity. My family is thrilled to move back to Ithaca, which holds a special place in our hearts and is where my husband and I met and were married.” goes here

Description text goes hereBorn and raised in Brooklyn, Claire moved to rural Geneseo, New York for college. At SUNY Geneseo Claire graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Psychology in May of 2023. From her first Shabbat at Geneseo, she dedicated her time to her Hillel community and filled numerous roles there with her favorites being LGBTQ Inclusion Coordinator, Social Media Coordinator, and President. She also had a voracious interest in both research and clinical psychology spending time in three laboratories and one clinical internship before graduation. After graduating, Claire moved to Buffalo for work and created a LGBTQ Jewish Organization in her free time. It was in Buffalo she realized her true passion was creating joyful Jewish communities that lifts people up and invites them in. Through her friendship with another Springboard Fellow, Claire learned about the opportunity to make that passion a career with Hillel. Claire is thrilled to work at Ithaca College Hillel and get to know all of their students! She hopes to bring her passion for social justice as well as her extroverted personality to the role. In her personal life she loves Ben and Jerry’s Marshmallow Sky Ice Cream, swapping clothes with friends, and weightlifting. You can email Claire at cshroder@ithaca.edu

Born and raised in Baltimore, MD, Molly graduated from Tulane University with a B.A. in Sociology and minors in Psychology and Jewish Studies. Her deep-rooted connection to the Baltimore Jewish community and active involvement in Jewish life at Tulane inspired her to ultimately pursue a career in the Jewish nonprofit world.
Before joining Hillel in the summer of 2023, Molly served as the Director of Media and Design for a start-up healthy snack company in the food & beverage industry. Now, as a Campus Marketing and Development Manager at Hillel International, she supports the grassroots fundraising and marketing efforts for IC Hillel and two other campus Hillels–engaging donors, parents, and alumni to strengthen Jewish life on campus.
Outside of work, you can find Molly on the tennis or pickleball court, reading the latest romance novel, or exploring new food spots in Washington, D.C., where she currently lives.
